We’re a small but growing Engineering Team driven every day by the question: What would a World-Class Engineering Team do?
Who are we?
We’re on a journey to make the unique cultural food items that sit on the shelves of thousands of specialist grocery stores discoverable and to make them accessible to the world, all while not holding any stock ourselves. Our technology and relationships with our partners mean that we have the ability to offer a greater number of products, across a larger number of cultures than all of the major UK supermarkets combined.
Our Stack
Our tech stack is TypeScript, Shopify, AWS, React and Glide. Our business runs on Slack, Notion, Github and Linear.
On our demand side we’ve got our Shopify store where we’re working on projects like our move to a headless environment, search and merchandising, product recommendations, AI-powered product information management, customer tagging and personalisation.
In our fulfilment area we’re building internal software, tools and apps to make our lightning store managers, pickers and drivers’ lives as easy as possible by using advanced picking algorithms, route planning and demand forecasting to delivery as much as we can as space-efficiently as possible.
And on our supply-side we’re dialled into the experience of our partner stores where we focus on inventory, accurate pricing, data mining, reporting and market insights to unlock a whole new layer of information on local grocery markets that no-one else can see.
The Story So Far
We’ve proven there’s a market for what we’re doing - now we’re building an incredible team to mature our technology and build a platform to support the next milestones in our growth. We’ve got three main areas of our business: demand, fulfilment and supply.
Join our team building and architecting our data, despatch and delivery platform to define a new business model in eCommerce fulfilment. We focus on being a world class remote engineering team, iterate quickly, care about quality, love automated testing and strong documentation.
